amanda is really good at finding weird stuff online. she just sent me this link on flick of disassembled household appliances. it's pretty. my brother used to do this stuff when he was little and then try and flush all the evidence down the toilet.

Renegade Craft Fair

a couple friends recommended this cooking school, first class cooking, in sf. courtney, panda and i signed up to be students for one with an australian menu. i'm really excited! i'll have to post the recipes and photos so i don't lose them.

Under the Costa Rican Sun

i just ordered this hat for my upcoming surf trip to costa rica. not joking. the thing is huge - 23"! last time i was in costa rica, i gravely underestimated the heat of the sun and ended up three-days sick from sun poisoning. not this time!



i keep reminding myself it's better to look like a silly tourist than a blistered tomato.
