Cool down

With less than a week til Morroco, I am equally excited about sandy adventures, eager to dive into Moroccan cuisine, and scared silly about the heat we'll encounter. I'm pale and heat-sensitive, you see. I've been in some hot temperatures but always when by the ocean or within arms reach to air conditioning. 110 degrees and in the desert? Lord, help me. I may combust into a ball of flames.

A fan. A pretty hand fan may just be the foresight that saves me. I'm on it. Check out DesignSponge's post on some gorgeous ones. I'm still looking for one with a motor on it.

Summer Dress

I've been searching for a dress to wear to two summer weddings on the calendar. Something warm and colorful that I just may stand a chance of wearing again.

I know it's summer and all, and there's a bounty of delicious, juicy berries, peaches and melons...but screw that.
